NBC announced today that Chicago Med has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore spin-off joins franchise-mates Chicago Fire and Chicago PD in being picked up for the 2017-2018 television season. Chicago Justice, the most-recent franchise entry, is still awaiting a decision on its fate.
Chicago Med has continued to draw solid numbers for the network after its move to Thursday nights, though ratings have dipped to new lows in the second-half of the season.
Following in the footsteps of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, Chicago Med focuses on the brave team of doctors and nurses that work at a hectic hospital in the Windy City. On a daily basis they tackle unique new cases while dealing with the drama of personal relationships.

So glad to hear Chicago Med will be back. Love the three that are on. Couldn't care less about Justice. Seems really contrived and the acting seems wooden. I also love the way the actors cross over into each other's shows.

Our favorite shows, glad the first 3 are renewed. I'm disappointed that Chicago Justice has not been. I liked its connection to Law and Order.

I get Hulu, minus the commercials option. Worth the 12 dollars I pay. However, they've redesigned Hulu, and it's almost impossible to find your favorite shows anymore.

I love all the Chicago sows: Fire, PD, & Med. Very pleased to hear Med is returning. I love how you combine all the actors together in all the shows. The only thing I don't like is so many commercials in all these shows, but I would rather watch them than some of the reality shows that are on.

This show should be cancelled and another reality show should be put in it's place

Yes, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med. are renewed as well as Timeless and Law and Order SVU. I'm relieved to hear they are renewed.

Chicago Med, Fire, PD are my absolute favorite shows on TV so far. I love the cast, the story lines, and the way you sometimes put all of them together in a series. Please keep these shows. And to those of you who think the shows are "junk" or "drivel," no one is forcing you to watch them. Go watch some stupid reality show---that's junk!

Chicago Med is awesome. It cannot get cancelled. Great actors and storylines. Oliver Platt must return, please.....
