The post-apocalyptic comedy will return in 2017-2018.
May 10, 2017
Fox announced today that The Last Man on Earth has been renewed for a fourth season. The Will Forte comedy concluded its third season this past week with a cliffhanger finale that, to the relief of its fans, will now get to be resolved.
A modest performer on Sunday nights, the half-hour series has developed a loyal following and critical praise thanks to its unique brand of storytelling and quirky sense of humor. Look for Season 4 to return this fall as part of the network's 2017-2018 lineup.

This show is an underrated gem. The writing is spectacular, the cast is great (Mel Rodriguez is amazing), and it has some of the best twists on TV. I'm really happy to see that it's staying on the air for another season.

I love this show and i have defended it from the very beginning from those who hate it for no reason. but season 3 has been nothing but a constant beating on the bush cluster F**k. And now we have to live with constant fear of the show getting cancelled any moment because of that. well good to know that at least, one more season have been secured. i hope Will get his sh*t together and delivers something less digressive and focus more on heading this show towards the closure that it deserves
