The late-night talk show gets four more years.
May 17, 2017
TBS announced today that Conan O'Brien has reached a deal to stay with the network for four more years after his existing term is up, thereby renewing his late-night talk show Conan through 2022.
The pact with the veteran host will see him continue to diversify his younger-skewing brand into areas other than just television, such as digital content, mobile gaming, live tours, and other cross-platform experiences.
Conan O'Brien has been with the cable network since 2010, where his show's brand of humor has done particularly well with younger viewers (he boasts the youngest audience among his late night competitors) and on social media platforms.

Surprised the actually even think about it. That being said, only watch a few clips from the main late night shows to include Corden. The only one i watched the full show of was Craigy Furgy. Now that is gone, I could care less. #sad.

Does anyone ACTUALLY watch these late night talk shows? I mean.. aren't they just time slot fillers and marketing tools for the studios? The equivalent of a Vegas reticency but on the air?

Conan for the win, he is still true to himself and nobody does remotes and sketches like he does. nice to know that we have at least 5 more years.

I watch him as much as all the other late night clowns: very rarely. Colbert, maybe once for ten minutes if that long. Corden: never. It's only worth watching any of them for the rare guest of interest, which my be a musician. Conan is actually likeable, even can be funny on occasion; sidekick should be kicked.
