No Season 4 for the sci-fi drama.
September 15, 2017
It is being reported that Freeform has canceled Stitchers after three seasons. The science fiction crime drama, which concluded its most-recent run last month, was one of the cable network's older shows from back when it was known as ABC Family.
The network's first procedural drama, Stitchers followed a young woman who is able to 'stitch' herself into the minds of the recently-deceased. Today's move follows Freeform's recent strategy shift to focus more on "becomers" - or young adults experiencing new life changes.
The series had its best performance during its freshman year, where it averaged roughly 900,000 viewers. While its numbers dipped in Season 2, it still ranked as the Disney-owned network's second-highest rated new series over two seasons among adults 18-49, behind only Shadowhunters. But with the the shift in programming and its numbers not picking up, the cancellation is really not much of a surprise.

They were stupid to change the name of the channel in the first place. This was just about the only good show left, so no reason to watch it any more. Wish I could remove it from the lineup entirely!

Nothing left to watch on Freeform. I wish I could drop the channel and save some money.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! Right when something great was happening and then they end it on a cliffhanger. I think I'm done with freeform.

Season 1 was peretty nice, Season 2 was meh and Season was just weird and boring. I quit after 5 episodes or so, because i kinda stopped caring about the characters.

Really enjoyed this show even though I don't fit the demographics. Will miss it.

Emma Ishta is Pregnant and its kinda hard to fit in that suit with a giant belly, lol. She already said after the baby she would be taking time off so I suppose that is why its cancelled.

This is so disappointing. I absolutely adored this show! I hate it when networks cancel good show for the sole reason of a programming shift, especially when the show is well received. It's unfair to the show and to fans. Also, how does this show not fit young adults experiencing new life changes? Kirsten's spent most of her life devoid of feeling emotions and is now experiencing them again for the first time, has had to learn how to establish real relationships (like a sister she never knew she had, and a romantic relationship with Cameron) and was going to reconnect with a mother she hadn't seen since she was 8. Sounds like it fits to me. Will miss this show.
