The network is shuffling its Monday lineup after a slow start.
November 1, 2017
Scheduling changes are afoot at CBS today, and the resulting casualty is Me, Myself & I. Effective immediately, the network is shuffling its low-rated Monday night comedy block after just one week without powerhouse The Big Bang Theory, which is now airing on Thursdays.
While the network's entire Monday lineup drew lackluster ratings this week, Me, Myself & I is the only show being removed from the schedule. The move comes after the freshman comedy's sixth episode, leaving seven of its 13 total episodes left unaired for now, with question marks around when they will see the light of day.
Me, Myself & I premiered in early September to fairly decent reviews but never seemed to generate much buzz among viewers. Starring Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan, the half-hour series follows a man through three pivotal periods in his life - as a 14-year-old in 1991, as a present-day middle-aged man at 40, and in his elder years in 2042.
The departure of Me, Myself & I makes room for the return of Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan, which will premiere its second season on November 13 at 8:30pm after Kevin Can Wait (a Big Bang Theory rerun is slotted in next week). Superior Donuts will stay on at 9:00pm, with newbie 9JKL hoping to fare better in the 9:30pm time slot.
As for Me, Myself & I's future, things aren't looking good. It's possible CBS will find a future time slot to air its remaining episodes, but don't expect it to return for Season 2.

I really like this show, its quite funny. The only problem i have is how Bobby Moynahans Character can grow a foot taller and become John Larroquette. I don't know if the creators are just trying to be absurdly funny like Mel Brooks or they just thought people wouldn't notice. Also the Nori Character is supposed to the same age as the main person yet Sharon Lawrence is obviously younger than John Larroquette. But i can get past it because the show is really good. I hope it doesn't get cancelled.

CBS is filled with MORONS! Me, Myself, and I is a great show and is 10 times better than a lot of crap they have on air right now. If it weren't for The Big Bang Theory I wouldn't be watching anything on this station at all.

Very original concept and I loved it from the start. Netflix would seemingly be a better destination?

Please bring back Me Myself and I. My wife and I really enjoy this quirky, funny, sweet, intelligent comedy. Give your smarter viewers something to watch rather than the stock standard rubbish you keep throwing on instead.

I'm so disappointed!! I really enjoyed this show! Very original concept! Wish you would have given it a chance to find an audience!!

What a shame, I unexpectedly enjoyed watching this show. It was a fun concept with a lot of future potential. Too bad CBS plays solely to morons with their programing.

I was surprised that I liked this show, but I was concerned by the number of actors it took to pull off a 3 time period concept. That is a lot of pay checks. Anyway, I will give anything with John Larroquette a chance. If this is a definite end to Me, Myself, and I, that is a real shame. It is a great show.
I didn't realize Man with a Plan hinged on any other shows. I love that one. Kevin Can Wait, on the flip side, just isn't saveable. Their attempt to revamp it just made it even harder to watch. I love Kevin James so please find him a script more worthy of him.

Every time there is a show on worth watching, it is not given a chance to survive. Of all the comedies on CBS, after viewing one episode, this is the ONLY one we continued to watch, and we enjoy it more each time. Kevin Can Wait, 9JKL, etc - horrible. I am so disappointed!!

Why can't an intelligently done sitcom last? If this was based on some overbearing housewife with canned laughter, I am sure it would be at the top. Sorry. I really like this show. It is refreshing.

Wow, I really like this show. There are hardly any comedies anymore on TV, and this one is funny. I hope CBS gives it a second chance, it really deserves it
