The network is shuffling its Monday lineup after a slow start.
November 1, 2017
Scheduling changes are afoot at CBS today, and the resulting casualty is Me, Myself & I. Effective immediately, the network is shuffling its low-rated Monday night comedy block after just one week without powerhouse The Big Bang Theory, which is now airing on Thursdays.
While the network's entire Monday lineup drew lackluster ratings this week, Me, Myself & I is the only show being removed from the schedule. The move comes after the freshman comedy's sixth episode, leaving seven of its 13 total episodes left unaired for now, with question marks around when they will see the light of day.
Me, Myself & I premiered in early September to fairly decent reviews but never seemed to generate much buzz among viewers. Starring Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan, the half-hour series follows a man through three pivotal periods in his life - as a 14-year-old in 1991, as a present-day middle-aged man at 40, and in his elder years in 2042.
The departure of Me, Myself & I makes room for the return of Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With A Plan, which will premiere its second season on November 13 at 8:30pm after Kevin Can Wait (a Big Bang Theory rerun is slotted in next week). Superior Donuts will stay on at 9:00pm, with newbie 9JKL hoping to fare better in the 9:30pm time slot.
As for Me, Myself & I's future, things aren't looking good. It's possible CBS will find a future time slot to air its remaining episodes, but don't expect it to return for Season 2.

Love this show! It's the only show on CBS I look forward to seeing each week.

Better comedy than KCW, 9JKL, and Superior Donuts. Had some heart and sole and not a bunch of stale jokes etc.. REALLY!

CBS never give any new concept shows a chance -- it was good TV -- we need more sitcoms -- due to all TV has become reality/fake tv shows with has been dancing or nobodys singing pop music

Monday Lineup: Sorry...CBS...not watching "Kevin Can Wait" since you killed off the wife. "9JKL" isn't funny. "Superior Donuts" is okay. Never caught onto "Me, Myself & I". You need to move "Man with a Plan" to the 8PM time slot and then Superior Donuts in the 8:30 time slot. Get rid of KCW and MMI. Put something more palatable in the 9-10PM time slot. JUST MY OPINION.

An original concept show. CBS should be ashamed.

Horrible, PREACHY, show. Just love it when network TV thinks they have a right to tell viewers how to live their lives. This was a soapbox show... nothing more. It should be cancelled. The kid actor was bad.... and not fat.. the SNL guy was fat and not great... Laroquette was decent (but not fat either). No one gets a weight problem in their 40's out of the blue then loses it in their 60s. That SNL guy was probably a bit heavy his entire life. Not "fat shaming" him at all.. merely pointing out the HUGE continuity error. I guess if you actually like this junk, you enjoy having others tell you how to live life.

This was my favorite of the new comedies.

LOVE this show!!! Like others have said, it was original, clean, heartwarming, funny and well acted. All of the other shows mentioned that are staying (Man with a Plan, Kevin can Wait, Superior Donuts, and 9JKL) are all mediocre at best, predictable and not that funny. I'm sad this show couldn't find an audience and hope they will at least air the remaining episodes. So bummed!!

It's really disappointing that something different than the standard sitcom gets taken away without being given a chance to gain an audience. With any luck, the last 7 episodes will be shown and catch the attention of some new eyes.

Good, clean entertainment. Love the show, but let's face it, shows like 9JKL play out to how vulgar shows content has become acceptable.
