TruTV announced today that Impractical Jokers has been renewed for an eighth season. The veteran hidden camera prank series, which premiered its seventh season just last month, has remained a top performer for the cable network.
The series stars members of comedy troupe "The Tenderloins", who coerce each other into pulling hidden-camera pranks on the unsuspecting public without knowing the details of the gag until moments before they actually do it. The remaining members of the group stay behind the scenes where they feed lines to the prankster's earpiece.
TruTV has ordered another 26 episodes of Impractical Jokers for Season 8, which will take the series past the 200-episode mark.

I would like to know when season 8 will start. I would also like for somebody to bring all the shows up to date as for the pictures and the shows of inside jokes for the year of 2018.

I used to like this show but not so much anymore. It's become too popular and hard to believe nobody recognizes them.

These guys are the cleverest people on the planet they do exactly the same thing every week and get paid for it and no one ever recognises them they must be masters of disguise

I’ll never get that a show is so popular it keeps getting renewed. But yet nobody recognizes them and people still fall for there gags. Still a decent show none the less and I’ll always watch when I’m bored and nothing else is on.

I can't believe garbage like this gets green lit year after year, season after season, and good shows get the axe after a handful of episodes. What the hell is wrong with this industry?! Are they really that out of touch with the American people???

.. because TruTV has NOTHING else to show..... The first few seasons were hilarious. It's still a bit amusing most episodes, but they've all become too accustomed to the "gags" and much has been lost. Most of the focus is now on punishments and "specials". Also probably why the've added the "insider" stuff to end of the episodes after punishments -- they are running out of footage because what made the guys really anxious and unsettled in the first three seasons is now merely "old hat" to them. -- Funny to see Q in the movie "Victory Crowley" :) And yeah.. great guys but none of them can act. So, well, I think it's this or nothing else for them. But surely they are millionaires after 7 seasons.
