The prank series will continue in 2023.
February 4, 2021
It is being reported that TruTV has renewed Impractical Jokers for a tenth season. The good news comes ahead of tonight's Season 9 premiere of the veteran prank series, and comes with the announcement that its stars have signed a first-look deal with WarnerMedia that will see them develop original programming for TBS, TNT, truTV, and HBO Max.
The show stars members of comedy troupe "The Tenderloins", who coerce each other into pulling hidden-camera pranks on the unsuspecting public without knowing the details of the gag until moments before they actually do it. The remaining members of the group stay behind the scenes where they feed lines to the prankster's earpiece.
Look for Season 10 of Impractical Jokers in 2023.

Joe Gatto got divorced and was cut out of any flashbacks all season. I wonder if he's gone for good and if the divorce was the main cause. I know he's touring the comedy circuit but, while I didn't go see him when he opened up for another comedian, I just don't see him as a stand-up. Season 9 was half good, half "meh".

Last 2 seasons were A+, back on their game again.
Season 9 started off well also, really enjoying the show again!

duuuuuh... of course they renew it, they have NOTHING else to air.
I like the guys... they CAN'T act one lick.. but they are funny just being themselves... which is clearly why TruTv has apparently staked their ENTIRE network around "Impractical Jokers" and "The Misery Index" (Which I don't really like).

They found out years ago that if they shoot the season before and after advertising for their current seasons are posted . . . People forget who they are and they have a free pass to prank again!

I love the guys. but, i got over this show like 3 years ago. in this era of cancelling shows willy-nilly, the fact that they keep getting renewed is such an achievement. good for them.

I think it is time to retire this show...it's getting tired!! Had a good run but, should quit while it's doing well. Its popularity has started to decline... especially since it is constantly being re-runed on TBS! We all know the outcome of these reality shows, including "Misery Index" so why show them so often. It is different than that of a scripted show. We all know the results of the winners or jokes.

They are very funny. I wonder how many new gags they can create and with their fame how often they get recognized in the NY area.
