NBC announced today that Hollywood Game Night has been picked up for a sixth season. The prime time game show has been a consistently-solid performer for the network over the course of its run, airing in either the mid-season or summer months.
Hosted by Jane Lynch, who won Emmy Awards in 2014 and 2015 for her work on the show, the series takes dueling contestants and teams them each up with three celebrities to compete in various casual games. Last year's fifth-season run continued to attract viewers, as during its second half it consistently took the top spot against its broadcast competition among adults 18-49.
NBC has ordered 13 episodes for Season 6 of Hollywood Game Night, which is its second-highest episode count behind only Season 2. A premiere date has not been announced, though a return sometime this year is expected.

I'm surprised thruther can even function and string together words to even form sentences!!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! Show is a great summer family show and if you don't enjoy it, watch something else!!!!

Love this Show !! Jane Lynch is outstanding as the Host !! Love seeing the celebrities acting like regular folk !! "Truther" is just being mean and petty !!

No, no, no. Please DON'T invite your friends over, get together and have a pleasant night socializing with people. For heaven's sake don't do that.. instead sit in front of your TV and watch other people do that very same thing. This won Emmys?? Really? Who paid who for those?? This is interesting in the same way a train wreck is interesting.. or a burning car is interesting... the novelty wears off really fast. I'm amazed it's getting renewed.
