The comedic variety show will return for Season 2.

truTV announced this week that At Home with Amy Sedaris has been picked up for a second season. The series premiered last fall with a 10-episode run that garnered widespread appraise from audiences and critics alike.
The show features the titular actress and comedian playing various roles in an eclectic mix of variety shows, talk shows, and cooking shows. Sedaris uses her unique expertise to entertain guests, prepare meals, and exhibit her can-do spirit by attempting to work out personal issues.
The cable network has ordered another 10 episodes of At Home with Amy Sedaris for Season 2, with production expected to begin later this year.

This was a fairly bad show. But then TruTv seems to renew bad shows for what they call season 2.. but really it's merely the second half of the show that's already been filmed and purchased. a la Friends of the People, et. al. They paid for 20/24 already filmed episodes.. air 10/12 of them call that season one.. wait 6 months.. air the other 10/12 and call that season 2.

Bleck and yuck. I know the bar is set low on tru tv but...barf. this show blows.
