Netflix announced this morning that Santa Clarita Diet has been picked up for a third season. The comedic horror released its 10-episode sophomore season in March, which has continued to garner critical acclaim.
The half-hour series stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant, each in their first projects on the streaming service, as married realtors Sheila and Joel. Their mundane lives in the suburb of Santa Clarita take an unexpectedly-dark turn when Sheila goes through a dramatic change that leaves her needing human flesh to survive. With their lives turned upside-down, Joel does everything he can to provide for his family until the couple can figure things out.
Look for Season 3 of Santa Clarita Diet in 2019.

Started watching this out of curiosity & ended up marathoning it as I could not stop. Incredibly well-written & funny. Perfect casting makes for an enjoyable watch. A bit gory but it all works!! Keep this series coming.

Just watching Timothy Olyphant's expressions is worth the whole show. He and Drew are wonderful together and the kids are great. So glad they renewed it for a third season. It can get gruesome, but the dark comedy carries throughout and it is well written.

Show starts of a little slow but once it gets going its f**king fantastic, best zombie comedy ever. great little show deserves more notoriety than what it is receiving. Its pure silly fun that's relatively well written. Not a masterpiece but would gladly watch several times for the sheer fun of it.

Great show. Fun to watch, with an excellent cast. Seeing as it's only thirty minutes, maybe they could add a few episodes to the season.
