No Season 2 for the airline comedy.
May 21, 2018
It is being reported that Fox has cancelled LA To Vegas after its first season. The sad news comes as the network is making its final decisions for the 2018-2019 season.
The freshman comedy premiered in early January as a mid-season entry. A promising start prompted Fox to add three episodes to its order, but the show ultimately could not hold onto its early audience over the course of its run.
The series starred Dylan McDermott in his first starring role in a television comedy. Episodes followed the eccentric flight crew and passengers of a regular weekend round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on a budget airline.

I honestly like this show but I'm not surprised it's got canceled. La to Vegas is like comfort food, you watch this show to make you feel better. You watch this in your free time, not religiously watch it in its original air time like all those long-seasons shows.

I loved this show. It was quick and funny because the situations were over the top. I loved the gambling show where Captain Dave won tens of thousands of dollars at a craps table. He was depressed and then his winning streak changed his attitude about love. I really enjoyed how the characters mostly rolled with the flow of whatever bad thing happened to them. They always overcame their problems with the help of each other. The Lot B episode was so cool. It took great imagination to create an RV park for airline and airport personnel. So many of the residents had such unique caricatures. I would like to see another episode relating to Lot B.

They can't expect shows like this to last. You have a very limited environment and a moving metal tube in the air, which 'goes' back and forth. Instead of planning for multi-seasons, why don't writers start a plot and develop a plan for a Single Season Series (can be promoted as SSS), to have a final, good ending: Hot Shot Pilot (Male or Female) goes off with the Person of their Dreams and make it funny and final at the end. Reminds me of the Dome: Limited resources with shrinking environment, which does not project extended episodes to me. Big Bang has gone long because it had the great cast and several locations in the story (Apartments, college, book store, and other add-on places they could go for many story off-shoots. This all comes down to planning how far, BEFORE the series even starts, so if it catches on, the fans can provide the fuel to keep going on. In Aviation Speak: No Landing Short.

Okay I really enjoyed the show, I thought it was hilarious especially since I have flown a lot and I used to live in Vegas. I thought this show was over the top funny and while yes cheap set and sometimes over comical there's worst shows out

This was a somewhat enjoyable show, though I will admit that all characters were caricatures, but to me, that helped rather than hindered the show. By the way, Timm and Boby...I think that you two should meet.

I really have to question what people consider humorous and funny after reading comments from people that this show was witty and funny....
Are you the same group that loves CBS comedies and still loves The Big Bang Theory? I think a few of you are over compensating for Dylan McDermott.

What does ABC's Last Man Standing have to do with Fox's LA to Vegas??
People are aware that different networks aren't run by the same decision makers, right?
Here's a tip! Before you bitch.. check your facts :)
