No Season 2 for the airline comedy.
May 21, 2018
It is being reported that Fox has cancelled LA To Vegas after its first season. The sad news comes as the network is making its final decisions for the 2018-2019 season.
The freshman comedy premiered in early January as a mid-season entry. A promising start prompted Fox to add three episodes to its order, but the show ultimately could not hold onto its early audience over the course of its run.
The series starred Dylan McDermott in his first starring role in a television comedy. Episodes followed the eccentric flight crew and passengers of a regular weekend round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on a budget airline.

The captain and flight attendants were very funny but the casting for the regular passengers was a swing and a miss.

Expected. I predicted this about 3 episodes in. The whole set design was cheap, and it was pretty obvious the whole thing was done on a barebones budget. The makeup, the lighting, etc. were cheap, and it was obvious that most of the scenes were done in one or two takes. You could sometimes see the actors turn off their character personas in the last second of the scene, when they were anticipating a "cut". Plus, most of the characters were cliches - done and done, over and over. Not surprised it was cancelled.

I hate last man standing and hope it gets canned before it airs. They got rid of quality shows. Of course they would they are faux channel as in Faux news. Those guys ust want more place to support the traitor in chief. Impeach last man standing and bring this back.

So sad. Really enjoyed this show. As I looked over upcoming premeires, I was saddened to see mostly reality tv. Why can't we have some light hearted fun, or easy to watch shows? Bring back some decent comedies please.

We liked this show. Pretty much done with Fox. Everything we start watching gets cancelled after the first season. I still think Surviving Jack should have stuck around.

When I tried to watch some of it, it had all the excitement of Love Boat.

Airline shows don't seem to make it. But this one was funny. They didn't give it a chance.

This show started off ok but never got any better. I’m glad last man standing is replacing this garbage.
