It is being reported that Amazon has picked up The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for a third season. The period dramedy originally premiered in 2017 with a two-season order, meaning today is its first official renewal.
The good news comes ahead of the streaming series' sophomore run, which does not yet have a premiere date. Season 1 premiered last year to a healthy amount of critical acclaim, even winning for best comedy from both the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Television Awards.
From Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel follows a 1950s Jewish housewife in New York City whose husband, who moonlights as a comedian, leaves her for another woman. When she returns to his old comedy club and impulsively gets on stage with an act about her current predicament, the audience loves it, leading her down an entirely new path.
Look for Season 2 to premiere later this year. Season 3 will likely follow in 2019.

For a minute I thought Ted was confused, but then he said he was joking. If you think Lucifer is better than this then this is not type of show. One for not need to effect the other.
When I was a kid I loved to make people laugh and told people I wanted to be a comedian so it hits somewhere special for me.
