Hallmark Channel announced this weekend that Chesapeake Shores has been picked up for a fourth season. The drama has been continuing its impressive run, with last fall's third season maintaining its status as one of the cable channel's most-watched original series.

Based on the novels by Sherryl Woods, Chesapeake Shores follows a career woman and single mother of two who takes a trip from New York City to the quaint hometown where she grew up. After realizing the toll her career has taken on her life, she considers staying in Chesapeake Shores permanently.

Look for Season 4 of Chesapeake Shores later this year, with a premiere likely targeting early August.
