USA Network announced today that Temptation Island has been picked up for Season 2. The show's official Twitter account confirmed the renewal with a short video promising an even wilder second season.
The reboot of the 2000s dating reality series premiered last month and is currently six episodes into its run. The show has been performing well so far, currently ranking at the #1 original cable series among adults 18-34 in its time slot.
Temptation Island follows four dating couples at a pivotal time in their relationship, who come to the tropical paradise of Maui, Hawaii to help decide if they are ready to make a long-term commitment to each other. When they arrive at the island, they are joined by 24 eligible men and women to help them make that decision. Once they start living the single lifestyle, it helps answer some of the most difficult questions about their relationship.
USA Network has ordered 12 episodes for Season 2, including a reunion special, for a likely premiere in early 2020.
