No Season 2 for the legal drama.
May 10, 2019
It is being reported that The Fix has been cancelled by ABC. The news comes with two episodes remaining in the legal drama's run.
The mid-season entry premiered in March but failed to generate much buzz. Its first episode was pretty much dead on arrival, ranking last in the ratings against its 10:00pm broadcast competition on NBC (The Enemy Within) and CBS (Bull).
Co-created by ex-O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, The Fix followed successful district attorney Maya Travis, whose career in L.A. suffered a major setback after prosecuting a big-name actor for double murder. Seeking a quieter life, she moved to the pacific northwest - but now another murder has occurred with signs that it was done by the same killer, which draws Maya back to the big city and the DA's office for a chance to finally get her man.
The series finale is scheduled to air on Monday, May 20.

I understand why the show was cancelled. You can’t really get a season two. I just wish you could tho because the show was SO ADDICTIVE

In case someone is wondering, though the show was canceled, the season finale can also serve as a series finale, there's no cliffhanger of sorts.

I liked this show but not surprised to see it end. After all, it really is kind of only a 1 season show. I mean what more can you do with an O.J. knock off? I think I would've been shocked to see it picked up for another season!

I honestly thought it was a mini-series that would end after this run. I didn't want to drag on for several seasons. Hope they wrap it up before it goes off.

Fooled me. I thought this was a limited series where we find out whether the alleged killer did it or not. I do actually like 1 season mini-series where they can quickly develop characters and there is a clear end objective. Bring on some more new 'shoes' (Ed Sullivan-ese for 'shows'). 'The Sinner' does this somewhat and can start each mini-series with a lot of new characters and a familiar one or two.

I really do hope they end this case then.

Nothing more than Marsha Clark rehashing the O.J. trial.
Unoriginal. Predictable. Boring.

Maybe it got better after the beginning, which I watched and thought it warranted a quick cancel.

If only you could have fixed your ratings. No loss here.

This sucks, I really enjoy this show. I read that it would have been a new case each season so at least this one will get wrapped up but I think the network just did not advertise this show at all. It is a well done show and I am constantly going back and forth on who I think is guilty so it keeps you guessing. Too bad.
