The mid-season comedy will return for Season 2.

ABC announced today that Bless This Mess has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes four episodes into the new comedy's run.
The half-hour series was given a late mid-season premiere, debuting in mid-April in the 8:30pm time slot airing after Black-ish. Through its first four weeks, ratings have been solid and reviews have been fairly positive.
Bless This Mess stars Lake Bell and Dax Shepard as New Yorkers Rio and Mike, newlyweds who have left the big city behind and moved to rural Nebraska. After saying good-bye to family, friends, and their jobs, they soon realize that living a simpler life takes more work than they originally thought. The couple must now adapt to their new surroundings while dealing with unexpected challenges in their new life as farmers.

Really? This crap was renewed? I didn't make it through the 1st boring, unfunny episode before I deleted it from my DVR. Terrible. Simply terrible.

The actors here must know the right person as this show just does not cut it. Very surprised it got renewed, I am removing from my DVR.

I've been waiting since the start for this show to be good. So far one liners that we see when they announce the show to air and nothing more. The show is a MAJOR SNOOZE-FEST!, why not cancel this show and leave the good shows alone.
Will watch one more episode and if it boring, guess what??? I've got the delete button ready and will drop it like a bad habit.

I watched 1 episode and thought for sure it wasn't going to make it... not sure if I want to give it another episode or two though, after Renee's college try didn't work out!! lol
but I also agree- yes to this and cancel The Cool Kids, which is 10x if not more times better!

I gave this one a good college try! But after the last episode I just can’t watch it anymore. I am very surprised they decided to keep this one.

The Cool Kids blows this away. I am really shocked this was renewed and The Cool Kids wasn't. :-(
