The comedy spin-off will return for Season 2.

ABC announced today that Schooled has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just days after the comedy's freshman finale, which capped a decent first outing for the spin-off series.
The half-hour sitcom premiered in January for a 13-episode run, but that wasn't where it really began. Its pilot episode originally aired as a regular episode of The Goldbergs back in January 2018. At the time, the network had passed on the show, which was developed as a 90s-set spin-off of The Goldbergs. Sometime after that they obviously had a change of heart, and Schooled was added to their mid-season schedule.
Set in 1990-something, Schooled follows the faculty at William Penn Academy – Principal Glascott, Coach Mellor, new music teacher and graduate Lainey Lewis, and enthusiastic super-teacher Charlie Brown. They may be nothing alike, both at school and in their personal lives, but this group of teachers are all great mentors to their students in their own unique ways.

its a feel good show not many about hopefully up to five or six seasons prediction....
It is interesting that like "The Goldbergs" most of the characters are based on real people, along with some of the events.
