The animated comedy scores three more seasons.
September 12, 2019
Comedy Central announced today that South Park has been picked up for Seasons 24, 25, and 26. The renewal is similar to the one it received in 2015, which was also a three-season order for a total of 30 episodes. The news comes two weeks ahead of the animated comedy's 23rd season premiere.
South Park is the longest-running primetime cable scripted series on television, and has also been the top-rated primetime cable comedy for the last six years. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have written and directed every episode since its inception in 1997, and will continue to do so moving forward.
Season 23 of South Park will premiere on Wednesday, September 25.

This show is stale. Everyone knows it. Average Viewer is right. They need to go back 6 season when they were good.

This show has managed to stay relevant and funny in ways shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad haven’t. Glad to see it keep going.

Too bad to hear. The show has become dull and predicable. The jokes are too easy and just rehashes of late night tv. The pick something people hate and just harp on it. The simpsons and family guy have become more relevant lately. The show started going down hill after Imaginationland. It is a shame that CC has nothing else to show and would go out of business if they end this. If they ended it it would be a decent show. Seems like they want to run it into the ground.
