No Season 2 for the streaming dramedy.
September 15, 2019
Word is out that Netflix has cancelled No Good Nick after just one season. Star Melissa Joan Hart took to social media to break the sad news to fans this afternoon.
The half-hour dramedy premiered in the spring, airing its 20-episode freshman run in two-parts that released in April and August. Reviews were ultimately mixed and the show seemed to slip under the radar, generating little fanfare.
No Good Nick follows an orphaned teenager who turns a family's lives upside down when she shows up at their door claiming to be family. What they don't know is that she's actually a street-smart con artist with ulterior motives.

I liked this show, was pretty good. Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin are great actors, and it was fun seeing them work together.

Finally The Plopster has become a victum of the cowardly impersonator who chooses to prerend to be someone else rather than offer a rebuttal under his/her own assumed name. I have said it before and will again. This forum needs to move to assigned names or possibly partner up with a provider like Disqus.

@plop your right. I too have no access to metrics. I was mad because I liked the show. I might be the only person who watched it. @cal I guess Netflix has given use a lot of good shows and like regular networks needs to not waste money on failing ones. I will try not to be so angry next time. I was wrong.

I have a hard time ADMITTING this, but I watched it a few times. The show wasn't really awful, it just makes me feel vulnerable to criticism when a show I secretly like gets the ax.

So bummed to hear this, I loved the show and was looking forward to season 2.

@Brenda: Actually, I am sorry. I have no idea for Netflix metrics as I am not privy to the info. I have a habit of being a blowhard on this forum. I usually speak poorly of a show once it's been cancelled only because hindsight is 20/20.
Thanks.

Surprised this had a fan. Networks would've cancelled this after one or two episodes and flipped off any fans wanting more. Be happy Netflix gave you an entire season of this awful show.

@Brenda Anderson, Stranger Things, Ozark, Lost in Space, Dead to Me, The Umbrella Academy, Narcos, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Haunting of Hill House, Bloodline, The Crown, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Godless, Mindhunter, Altered Carbon... Just the show's I watch on Netflix. Your statement is invalid.

It's a shame, it was pretty good for its kind, but I can't say I'm surprised.
