The fan-favorite clip show will return in 2020.
November 11, 2019
E! has announced that The Soup is coming out of retirement four years after being cancelled. The revived edition will be hosted by actress/comedian Jade Catta-Preta.
The series last aired between 2004 and 2015 with Joel McHale serving as host. But the franchise dates back further than that - all the way back to 1991 when it was known as Talk Soup. While that version had various hosts during its seven-year run, it was McHale's version that made the show an audience favorite.
Look for the revived edition of The Soup in early 2020.

Weak. Ignore the brilliance of Greg Kinnear and John "Skunkspot" Henson. Nonetheless, all the Soup hosts combined do not add up to one Daniel Tosh.

I wish her all the best, but The Soup is not the The Soup with Joel McHale.

Actually .Greg Kinnear was better than McHale.. but McHale did a great job too. .. Never heard of Catta-Pretta.... but in all fairness.. I had never heard of Kinnear or McHale before they were on The Soup either. -- Women aren't funny though :)

Kinda have to agree that without Joel McHale and his deadpan snark, I suspect this newest iteration won’t last.

No Joel McHale ... this is dead on arrival.
