No Season 2 for the summer drama.

It is being reported that ABC has cancelled Reef Break after just one season. The French-American drama ran for 13 episodes over the summer months, with its September 13 finale now acting as its series-ender. The show ultimately drew mixed reviews and generated little buzz, resulting in overall weak viewership.
The series starred Poppy Montgomery as Cat Chambers, a former thief-turned-fixer for the governor of a Pacific Island paradise. Her recent reappearance brings old friends and enemies back into her life, including her FBI agent ex-husband, an imprisoned crime boss and a former lover and detective who is in over his head.

I thought they premiere was really good and showed promise but then show just didn't click or work after that. Stopped watching so no surprise.

It was OK, about what you expect from light summer fare. The characters were interesting but didn't demand a lot of attention.
I always got a kick that it was supposed to take place on a fictional US Pacific territory when all the cars were right hand drive and everybody drove on the left side of the road -- because it was filmed in Australia. After a while they didn't even try to hide it.

We both liked this show for a summer replacement, especially the lovely locale !! Please reconsider the cancellation !! Poppy was interesting, as well as the other characters !!

Even though I am a poppy Montgomery fan. I never even heard of this show. Not surprise that it got cancelled.

Neworks do not end shows on cliffhangers. They air what creators gave them. Creators make cliffhangers out of spite to audience. Remember your ABC's of finales - Always Blame Creators.

I liked the show, but not surprised its not coming back. Overall...meh.

Sorry it was cancelled but I would wish networks would stop ending on cliff-hangers. I can no longer watch the first seasons of any show in case it is the only one.

It was tolerable to watch, my problem was I didn’t even know it was on until I happened upon the 3rd episode! Really really poor advertising for an ok show.
