The figure skating drama will not be back for Season 2.
February 3, 2020
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Spinning Out after just one season. The news arrives a month after the drama's freshman release, which hit the streaming service on January 1.
The show is the latest Netflix original to be cancelled before earning a second season, with the move coming just three days after fellow rookie drama Soundtrack was axed. Spinning Out ultimately garnered mixed reviews and failed to generate a noticeable amount of buzz.
The series followed Kat Baker, an Olympic hopeful figure skater trying to balance love, family, and her delicate mental health as the pressures of realizing her dream take dizzying hold.

I watched this all the way through. The 1st two eps were kinda like a Lifetime movie a little cheesy. Then all the sudden it got good and more entertaining acting got better. I was a figure skater so maybe that way I enjoyed it more then others on here. I would of watched season 2.

these shows are always boring. why not a show about tina , who has daddy issues , as she navigates the tuff world of the porn industry. you know, starting off as a fluffer , then face shots, then she makes it to the top doing 1 hour videos , then tracks the downward slide as she does bukkake and black dudes.

Does anyone really crave shows about figure skating mixed with mental health issues??? I mean... does anyone give 2 hoots about figure skating at all unless they are actually a participant in the sport???

I would love to be at the pitch meetings for some of these shows. With the premise of the show this should not be surprising.

That was a quick turn around. We watched it, would’ve watched season 2, but we aren’t sad to see it go.
