The dramedy will conclude its story next year.
February 24, 2020
Netflix announced this morning that Atypical has been picked up for a fourth and final season. The news comes nearly four months after the acclaimed dramedy released Season 3.
The half-hour series follows Sam, a teenager on the autism spectrum, and his family. Sam is working towards becoming more independent, which includes new activities like spending more time away from home and entering the dating scene. The rest of his family are also going through some pretty big life changes, which they are all adjusting to in their own ways.
The streaming service has ordered 10 final episodes to conclude the story of Atypical in 2021.

Glad to see they get a season to rap things up. Shame to see it go.
