Netflix announced today that The Circle has been picked up for an additional two seasons, taking it to at least Season 3. The good news comes just under three months after the competition series' New Years Day premiere.
Based on the British reality series of the same name, the show isolates contestants in their own apartments where they communicate via a social media app. This enables them to either be themselves or present completely different identities to each other in order to sound appealing. The contestants rate each other, with the top vote-getters becoming the influencers and gaining the ability to block somebody from the circle. Ultimately, the highest rated player takes home $100,000.
