Netflix has announced that The Circle is coming back for another two seasons, which will take it to at least Season 7. This is the third two-season renewal for the competition series, which wrapped its most-recent run back in January.
Based on the British reality series of the same name, The Circle isolates contestants in their own apartments where they communicate via a social media app. This enables them to either be themselves or present completely different identities to each other in order to sound appealing. The contestants rate each other, with the top vote-getters becoming the influencers and gaining the ability to block somebody from the circle. Ultimately, the highest rated player takes home $100,000.
Look for Season 6 of The Circle in the spring of 2024, with Season 7 following later in the year or early 2025.

I loved the British seasons of this show and even the first couple Netflix seasons, but they really pumped out too many of these in quick succession. Every season started feeling the same. Hopefully this little bit longer break between seasons lead to then coming up with some new ideas to rejuvenate the format.
