No Season 2 for the church choir comedy.
June 10, 2020
It is being reported that Perfect Harmony has been cancelled by NBC after just one season. The sad news comes four months after the comedy wrapped its freshman run, which ended up garnering decidedly-mixed reviews over the course of its 13 episodes.
The half-hour series stars Bradley Whitford as Arthur Cochran, a down-on-his-luck former Princeton music professor who unexpectedly finds himself outside a choir practice in a small-town church. After giving him a place to stay for the night, the out-of-tune singers ask for his help to prepare for a choir competition, but Arthur might need their help just as much as they need his.

Sad to see it go. Like so many comedies, it seemed to take a few weeks to figure out where it was going and solidify the characters.

A real bummer but I'm not surprised. I was really hoping I was wrong but not so much.

I am not surprised it got canceled. I tried to like this show but stopped watching mid season because I was bored by the storylines.

Enjoyed the show, but I cannot help think that maybe Bradley Whitford's leftist views and anti-Trump comments turned off some of the viewers... like my family. Oh well. Happy viewing.

That's too bad :( It wasn't my favorite show, but it grew on me. And I like Anna Camp.

Highly disappointed -- this was a great show, great cast and storyline. Will be missed!

...only decent thing about this show was seeing Anna Camp every week.

Not surprising. It was ok. The cast just wasn't that good.
