No Season 2 for the church choir comedy.
June 10, 2020
It is being reported that Perfect Harmony has been cancelled by NBC after just one season. The sad news comes four months after the comedy wrapped its freshman run, which ended up garnering decidedly-mixed reviews over the course of its 13 episodes.
The half-hour series stars Bradley Whitford as Arthur Cochran, a down-on-his-luck former Princeton music professor who unexpectedly finds himself outside a choir practice in a small-town church. After giving him a place to stay for the night, the out-of-tune singers ask for his help to prepare for a choir competition, but Arthur might need their help just as much as they need his.

Has to blame the above instead of pointing at the poor writing, cookie-cutter schmaltz, and some egregious acting chops, though not his.
Trying to "feel out" audiences with the first season does not usually bode well for the success of said show...especially when there isn't much there anyway.
