No Season 2 for the family comedy.
August 31, 2020
Word it out that The Big Show Show has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. The sad news comes just under five months after the comedy released its 8-episode freshman run, which flew somewhat under the radar and garnered generally mixed reviews.
It is being reported that an additional Christmas-themed episode will be released during the upcoming holiday season, but since the episode has already been filmed, it will not act as a proper conclusion to the story.
The half-hour series stars WWE wrestler Big Show, who plays a fictionalized version of himself. When his teenage daughter comes to live with him and his wife and two other daughters, the larger-than-life wrestler quickly becomes outnumbered - and outsmarted. His 7" tall, 400-pound frame might intimidate his opponents in the ring, but raising three daughters turns out to be an even larger challenge than winning the championship belt.

My son loved this show. He has watched the whole thing twice already. He will be crushed. What is with Netflix canceling things like crazy lately.

My 8 yr old daughter will be crushed! She adores this show. Introduced me to it. It was really cute and had a nice family feel and message. Was an underrated little show.

My daughter adored this show. I watched with her the first time and it was family friendly. Damn shame.

It was something to watch that wasn't great but good enough to take your mind off the world. Oh well.

That's… not surprising. It wasn't bad, really, but nothing new. Besides, shows like that rely a lot on the characters' charisma, and it was severely lacking in that department.
