Word it out that The Big Show Show has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. The sad news comes just under five months after the comedy released its 8-episode freshman run, which flew somewhat under the radar and garnered generally mixed reviews.

It is being reported that an additional Christmas-themed episode will be released during the upcoming holiday season, but since the episode has already been filmed, it will not act as a proper conclusion to the story.

The half-hour series stars WWE wrestler Big Show, who plays a fictionalized version of himself. When his teenage daughter comes to live with him and his wife and two other daughters, the larger-than-life wrestler quickly becomes outnumbered - and outsmarted. His 7" tall, 400-pound frame might intimidate his opponents in the ring, but raising three daughters turns out to be an even larger challenge than winning the championship belt.
