CBS All Access announced today that No Activity has been picked up for a fourth season. The news comes with a twist, as the comedy will be switching to a fully animated format for the upcoming season.
The half-hour series premiered in 2017 as the first original comedy on the subscription on-demand streaming service. The show's three seasons have garnered generally favorable reviews over the course of its run.
Based on an Australian series of the same name, No Activity follows the mundane aspects of life among different groups on both sides of the law during a major drug cartel bust operation. Executive producers on the project include Will Ferrell, who also has a recurring role, and Adam McKay. Stars Patrick Brammall and Tim Meadows will be returning for Season 4 to voice their new animated characters.
