The supernatural western will end its run in April.
February 5, 2021
It was announced today that Wynonna Earp will be coming to an end after its current fourth season. The supernatural western returns in March for what will be its final stretch of six episodes.
The news does not come as a complete surprise, as it was a long road for the show to make it to four seasons. It was renewed for Season 4 in the summer of 2018 but production was halted due to a lack of funding. Things eventually got sorted, but Syfy is no longer interested in pursuing a fifth season. Producers, for their part, will look to find a new home for the series, but their are no known interested parties at this point.
The Canadian-American production, which was adapted from Beau Smith's comic book series, follows the great granddaughter of Wyatt Earp fighting to bring demons and other paranormal beings to justice.
The show's final episodes begin airing on March 5, with the series finale set for April 9.

Again, I will miss this crew of misfits. I loved the blend of comedy and tongue & cheek comments as well as the quirky storylines. Long live Wynonna Earp and Purgatory.

Ho-hum. Given SyFy's sad state these days is anybody surprised?

S1 was alright but they were quick to kill off the persons of color. I gave up on it in S3 or S4 after their ridiculously long break (even with Covid) and they went from "monster hunter" to just another "savior of the world" bunch of crap.

Women don't want to watch shows like this without hunky masculine guys. I'm surprized it lasted 4 seasons, I mean, who's pushing this the nose ring green-haired swing-both way critics. AbeV doesn't eat soy, so there.

Well, hopefully we’ll be seeing a lot more of Mrs. McMurray now.

Yeah the quality of SyFy has really went down. They use to have good original shows but not anymore. How many times really can you watch Harry Potter and James Bond movies.

like usual Syfy is now looking to replace it with something worse. which is a trend they've been apart of for over a decade now.

Really liked the show in the beginning but I was done with this show when the writing tanked after the lead actress got pregnant and the writers didn't know how to handle it but kept filming a whole lot of garbage. There are so many great writers out there, get out of the little cliques.

This is one show I will NOT miss. I didn't care for season 1 but many times the writers get the chemistry going in the 2nd season. It was worse and by the 3rd season I couldn't take it anymore. I'm glad the slot will be cleared for hopefully something better.

Don't be a troll. If you haven't "gotten into" this show by now you don't need to worry about it.
