The supernatural western will end its run in April.

It was announced today that Wynonna Earp will be coming to an end after its current fourth season. The supernatural western returns in March for what will be its final stretch of six episodes.
The news does not come as a complete surprise, as it was a long road for the show to make it to four seasons. It was renewed for Season 4 in the summer of 2018 but production was halted due to a lack of funding. Things eventually got sorted, but Syfy is no longer interested in pursuing a fifth season. Producers, for their part, will look to find a new home for the series, but their are no known interested parties at this point.
The Canadian-American production, which was adapted from Beau Smith's comic book series, follows the great granddaughter of Wyatt Earp fighting to bring demons and other paranormal beings to justice.
The show's final episodes begin airing on March 5, with the series finale set for April 9.

oh no :( this show is very cheesy but it is super fun! I will miss it, it hits the spot for the cheesy campy sci fi fantasy that I've been missing on tv

The show was ok in season 1, but quickly went downhill to unwatchable levels, each season worse than the last. Looking forward to seeing a replacement show, whatever it is it can't be any worse than wynonna!

Oh hell. Really cool show. When funding fell through in 2018 after season 3 ended, I was sure it was a goner, finally in 2020 it got back on its feet, then covid hit with half of season four unfinished. I cannot see what chance this has after this record of calamity. Omg the other poster is right this season will have a cliffhanger as they assumed a season five.. Noooh.

They usually end seasons on cliffhangers. Too bad. Would have liked an ending.
