The sketch comedy series will finally see a fifth season.

Paramount+ announced today that Inside Amy Schumer will be making its long-awaited return on the new streaming service. The sketch comedy series was long-thought to be cancelled when it never returned after being picked up for Season 5 back in 2016.
Amy Schumer had been under contract to produce a fifth season of the show but ended up taking an extended hiatus to focus on other projects. After years passed by, it didn't appear that the show would ever return.
Inside Amy Schumer features scripted vignettes, interviews on the street, and stand-up comedy. Its return is said to consist of five specials, but no other details have been made available at this point.

Yawn...her cooking show is a snooze fest and her last few movies were awful but let revive “Inside” with a 1.9 viewer ratings?????? What is Paramount thinking???

Her previous comedy show started out really well. After a couple of seasons... I think my 10-year-old nephew's fart jokes were funnier. She let fame go to her head & lost her edge. But I will NOT be tuning in!

I'd be weary of I were Paramount.. Schumer hasn't been funny in YEARS... I mean what's she done since this show were off the air? A couple really, REALLY, bad movies... some cooking thing that was dreadful.... . And when this show original aired it only had the occasional bright spot among a whole heard of mundane.

My memory may be failing me, but I think it was Jud Crandall in "Pet Sematary" who said:
"Sometimes, cancelled is better. The show that you cancel ain't the show that comes back. It might look like that show, but it ain't that show, because whatever lives on the tv beyond the Cancelled Show Sematary ain't entertainment at all."
