It is being reported that TLC has picked up 1000-lb Sisters for a third season. The good news comes one week following the conclusion of the reality series' sophomore run.
The show been garnering a healthy number of viewers as of late, ranking #1 in its time slot in key women's demographics, with an overall stronger performance compared to Season 1.
1000-lb Sisters follows Amy and Tammy Slaton, two sisters from Kentucky who weigh a combined 1,000 pounds. Together, they are attempting to lose enough weight to qualify for a life-altering bariatric surgery and pursue their dreams of a healthier lifestyle.
If the show continues on the same release cadence, Season 3 should premiere in early 2022.
