The streaming late-night show extends its run.
March 21, 2021
Peacock has announced that The Amber Ruffin Show has been renewed for another six months. The good news will take the late-night talk show to a full year on the air, ensuring it will run through at least September.
Comedian and writer for Late Night with Seth Meyers, Amber Ruffin hosts the weekly show that features her signature smart and silly take on current news around the world. Amber's take on events is a charming mix of seriousness and nonsense perfectly blended together.

Considering this show is made with the budget surplus from Late Night with Seth Meyers, uses the same studio and writers . . . It is a fun experiment. They really just need to let Ruffin host the Friday edition of Late Night however.

Can't cancel what is not on the list of Cancel Culture.
These are the people they have to kiss butt to, so of course this gets renewed.

Why do all the announcements of renewals state that such events are "good news?" Clearly the author never watches tv. I, thankfully, have never heard of Amber Ruffin but I will jump to the seclusion that it is indeed unmitigated garbage based on the link to Seth Meyers.
