The late-night talk show will return for a second season.
September 14, 2021
Peacock announced today that The Amber Ruffin Show has been picked up for Season 2. The good news comes as the late-night talk show winds down its freshman run, which by all accounts was a successful one for the first-time host.
The show premiered last September and quickly garnered a warm reception from both viewers and critics. Then in March its first season was extended for six additional months, taking it to where we are now, with its finale set for this Friday.
The wait for Season 2 won't be a long one, as a premiere date has already been set for less than a month from now on October 8.
Comedian and writer for 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', Amber Ruffin hosts the weekly show that features her signature smart and silly take on current news around the world. Amber's take on events is a charming mix of seriousness and nonsense perfectly blended together.
