BET announced today that a second season of Tyler Perry's Assisted Living is on the way. The wait won't be a long one either, as the comedy is scheduled to return with new episodes later this month. At the same time, Season 3 was also confirmed.

The half-hour series follows the patriarch of a growing family who, after losing his job, decides to uproot his wife and kids and move to the backwoods of Georgia so he can help his crazy grandpa, who has foolishly bought a run-down elderly home and is already way in over his head.

Season 2 of Tyler Perry's Assisted Living will follow the newly-opened assisted living facility and the variety of personalities that come to live there. Look for a premiere on Tuesday, May 25 at 9:30pm.
