HBO Max is bringing back Project Greenlight. The streaming service announced today that an updated version of the filmmaking documentary series is on the way from Miramax and Issa Rae.

The original Project Greenlight only aired a total of four seasons despite premiering back in 2001. Its first two seasons ran on HBO before the series was moved to Bravo in 2005 for Season 3. After a 10-year absence, the show was brought back for a fourth season on HBO in 2015, but was cancelled a year later.

The new Project Greenlight will focus on the up-and-coming generation of talented filmmakers, revealing the challenges facing the director, from pre-production and casting through to principal photography and post-production. Rae will appear in every episode to provide mentorship and guidance.
