Netflix announced today that Nobody Wants This has been renewed for a fourth season. The news comes two weeks after the romantic comedy released its 10-episode third season, which continued to garner high praise from critics and viewers. Its October return delivered the streamer its largest opening week for a returning comedy series this year.
"We are so happy and thrilled to do another season of our favorite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we run," said Co-Showrunners / Executive Producers Erin Foster, Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan.
"Great love stories never go out of style, and Nobody Wants This has become a true cultural phenomenon," said Netflix's Vice President of Comedy Series, US Tracey Pakosta. "This incredible creative team has built a show that grows with its audience, and our members around the world have embraced it season after season. We cannot be more excited for Season 4."
The half-hour series stars Kristen Bell as Joanne, an agnostic podcast host who meets and falls for an unconventional, newly single rabbi named Noah, played by Adam Brody. The unlikely pair must now work out their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families.
