The comedy will return for Season 2.
May 19, 2021
TBS announced today that Chad has been picked up for a second season. The news comes after a strong start to the show which, through seven episodes, has garnered fairly positive critical reviews and ratings that rank it as one of cable TV's top comedies.
The half-hour series stars SNL alum Nasim Pedrad as the titular 14-year-old Persian boy, who is attending his first year of high school. Wanting desperately to be popular, Chad's friendships and sanity are tested as he does his best to make friends with the cool kids while enduring his mom's dating life and reconciling with his cultural identity.

Steve, you're not "awake" just because you don't like something and you choose to post about it. Learn the ACTUAL definition of what social engineering is and grow up.

I kept watching after the 1st episode. Disrespectful and brilliant.

Social engineering. Some of us are awake, others are just woke.

Not sure what Biden has to do with anything. TBS actually ordered the series into production in May 2019.
Honestly, some people.

Lol, I’m still laughing...I really don’t know what y’all are watching but this show Chad is pretty funny, I watch it while trying to visualize Chad is really a 40 yr old woman and it makes it side splitting! Y’all really gotta lighten up and enjoy this show. Like Ferris Bueller says “life moves by pretty fast and if you don’t stop and look around once in awhile you might just miss it! I think that’s how it goes.

The Plopster has to disagree with the first few comments. Actually finding this show funny.

Shocked.
Until I read .... "Chad awarded a lucrative tax incentive to move second season production from Vancouver to California."
Still the most unwatchable new show of the past season.

I can't stand the commercials for it! Better shows are getting cancelled because they are normal and not having all of the characters sleep with each other.
