HBO Max announced today that Hacks has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes less than a month after the premiere of the dark comedy, which has so far been garnering high praise from both critics and viewers.

The half-hour series stars Jean Smart as Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comedian who becomes an unlikely mentor to an entitled, outcast 25-year-old after realizing they have more in common than she first thought.

Look for Season 2 of Hacks in 2022. For now, catch the final two episodes of Season 1 on June 10.
