The dramedy will return for Season 2.
July 14, 2021
Epix announced today that Bridge and Tunnel has been picked up for a second season. The news comes five months after the dramedy wrapped its freshman run, which ultimately garnered mixed reviews.
Written and directed by Edward Burns, the series is set in 1980s New York and follows a group of recent college graduates from Long Island who leave home to pursue their dreams in Manhattan. But the move isn't as easy as they thought, and they have a hard time leaving behind the familiarity of their working-class home town.
Look for Season 2 of Bridge and Tunnel in 2022.

I know what a plot is..... Burns doesn't.

Why? NOTHING HAPPENED in season 1... I mean NOTHING. It was like watching a "day in the life of paint drying." Burns does this constantly... he jsut writes random situational drama stuff that has little or no meaning and doesn't interconnect to an overall storyline.... it wouldn't kill him to learn what the word PLOT means. If he weren't famous as an actor and have enough money to be "F-U money" ... none of this stuff would get made.. that's why he's ALWAYS a producer as well.. he pays for it.

Decent show. Every character sounds like Ed Burns. Ended stronger than it started. Love the 1/2 hour format.
