Comedy Central announced today that South Park has been picked up for Seasons 27 through 30. The renewal is another multi-year order similar to the ones it received in 2015 and 2019. On top of that, the series will also be bringing 14 original made-for-streaming movies to Paramount+ between now and 2027.
South Park is the longest-running primetime cable scripted series on television, and recently surpassed the 300-episode milestone. It has also been one of the top-rated primetime cable comedies for the last six years. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have written and directed every episode since its inception in 1997, and will continue to do so moving forward.
