FX announced today that American Horror Stories has been picked up for a second season. The news comes ahead of next week's freshman finale on August 19.
From Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck, the anthology spin-off tells a different standalone horror story in each episode. With its premiere last month, the show became the most successful launch of any series so far on FX on Hulu.
Look for the next installment of American Horror Stories in 2022.

This spinoff seems like it is geared towards a much younger audience. I don't want to say it's "bad" so much as I want to say it comes off a bit cheap and cheesy.

@plop That is American Horror Story this is AH Stories an 7 part anthology serie, like the Twilight Zone of Masters of Horror every episode tells a different story.
First episode went back to the murder house of AHStory, that was pretty cool to be honest.
I realy like this show, but the gore could be a little more, its ASH material after all.

The original was "American Horror Story", with each season being a story ; this is the spin-off, "Stories", where each episode is a different story.
