Fox announced today that MasterChef has been picked up for a 12th season. The long-running culinary competition is currently in the midst of Season 11, subtitled 'MasterChef: Legends'.
The series continues to perform well for the network during the summer months, helping it come out on top in the ratings on most Wednesday nights.
MasterChef will return for Season 12 in the summer of 2022, where Gordon Ramsay will again be joined by judges Aarón Sánchez and Joe Bastianich to award another lucky home cook with the $250,000 grand prize.

Goeze, I couldn't agree more! I love the show and hoping that Covid is what is making it a little boring (no team challenges for example). The contestants are not exciting either. Hoping that next season it will be back to its ole self!!

I tried watching this show but it was just so staged. Everything was good or terrible. Nothing was okay but could be better. Most of the time it was just two or three repeated lines. Somebody on the crew should get the guy a thermometer or a thesaurus, raw is a temperature not a feeling. He could say undercooked. This is the type of show that only works for a season or two. After that any resoanable viewer gets tired of it.

Yes!! One of the reality shows that is actually worth watching. I love Gordon.

I love this show but this season seems off. The challenges are easier and the contestants lackluster.

The current season is actually the first that I’ve seen, and I really love this show. It warms my heart to see how supportive the contestants are of one another, even though they’re each other’s competition. And as much as I love watching Gordon yell “it’s f-ing raw!” at the cooks on Hell’s Kitchen, it’s really cool to see him be pretty nice over on Masterchef.
