Fox has announced that MasterChef has been renewed for an eighth season. The veteran culinary competition will be returning this summer with a new group of aspiring chefs on a quest to take home the $250,000 top prize.
Joining Gordon Ramsey and Christina Tosi on the judges' panel in Season 8 will be celebrated chef and restaurateur Aaron Sanchez, who was a guest judge on Season 7 and will be featured in an upcoming episode of MasterChef: Junior, which is current airing Thursday nights.

Christina Tosi has no business being on that show. You can do 90% of what she does with a box of Duncan Haynes cake mix and a can of funfetti frosting. The rest is hype and self promotion.

We need about 5 or 6 more Ramsey shows, then we are all set. Or better yet, a Ramsey channel.... Yeah.
