The crime solving comedy is returning for Season 2.

Hulu announced today that Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes five episodes into the comedy's freshman run, which has been garnering high critical praise since its August premiere.
The half-hour series stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez as three strangers living in the same New York apartment building who all happen to be obsessed with true crime. After one of their neighbors dies under suspicious circumstances, they band together to investigate their own real life murder mystery.
Look for Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building in 2022.

Great news! I really enjoy Martin Short and Steve Martin. It’s good getting to k ie Selena Gomez, too, She is a good actress.

Good show, Selena is using the voice the directors told her to use. I saw her in a horror movie and it was a normal voice in that. Of course other seasons will have murders , why complain about it. This is a tv show not reality. Even the excellent show billions is not reality.

This is great news. Watching Steve Martin and Martin Short is great in anything they do and Selena Gomez has been fun to watch so far. I'm looking forward to how Season 1 plays out and now I can really look forward to a Season 2!

Couldn't bring myself to finish watching episode 2. Some cringe worthy scenes and the editing is all over the place.

I have to agree with Yorik - Gomezs voice is very... odd... I cant watch Mila Kunis movies because of her voice, but Gomez's doesnt bother me so much. The wife and i love the show! Im not subscribing to the whole "weekly" procedural setup next season though, our schedules only allow 2-3 TV nights a month and watching (lets say) 4 episodes one night and 1 the next is getting real old, real quick. The reason we pay for streaming is to binge, otherwise we'll just wait to TiVo on broadcast....

Well I'm glad everyone wasn't "waiting to watch this" or it wouldn't have gotten renewed. Really fun show.

I thought for sure this was going to be a limited series. Very curious to see how they carry it on, but it's been great so far.
