HBO Max announced today that The Other Two has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes one day after the comedy wrapped its 10-episode sophomore run, which was its first on the streaming service.
The series originated on Comedy Central but only lasted one season there before heading over to HBO Max for Season 2. Per the streamer, the show has been its most popular series in the last month and has seen steady growth each week.
The Other Two follows a pair of grown siblings whose lives are in a bit of a rut. While they're each struggling to make something of themselves, their teenage brother Chase has become an overnight Internet star, leaving them unsure how to feel about their sibling's sudden stardom.

I thought season 2 was nowhere near as good as season 1... I'm not a big Molly Shannon fan, though. There was very little of the "odd situations" in season 2.. there were a couple, mostly for Brooke... but that didn't seem like the driving factor. Cary's storyline was just all emotional junk and nothing funny at all.

Love to hear it. It’s one of the underrated funniest shows out there right now. It and Detroiters were two gems Comedy Central gave up on too soon.

Season two has been good. The show does seem like it has less to do with " THE OTHER TWO ". It seems the emphasis is now more on the mom, which is fine. Streeter was much more interesting in season 1. This renewal is a whatever. There are better shows that have been canceled and tons of worse shows still on the air.

Season 1 was hilarious and I was shocked when it was not renewed on Comedy Central. I am glad I have HBO Max and can watch!
