ABC has picked up The Bachelor for a 26th season. The news came as part of the network announcing the new host of the long-running reality series. Former 'Bachelor' Jesse Palmer will be taking over for Chris Harrison, who left the show last season due to controversy around certain remarks he made.
The 'Bachelor' franchise as a whole has continued to perform solidly for the network after more than a decade on TV, drawing consistent ratings year after year. Current spin-offs 'The Bachelorette' and 'Bachelor in Paradise' are showing no signs of slowing down either.

They picked a white guy. I'm sure that'll go over well.
